Algarve Helicopters was founded by three Irish Pilots with a passion for the Algarve and more than 25 years flying experience and 10,000 flying hours between them. All are professional experienced instructors who hold both JAA and FAA licenses and have flown multiple types of helicopters.

Algarve Helicopters is certified for JAA PPl and JAA CPL training courses. Algarve Helicopters also offers the only approved JAA single engine Instrument Rating in a Robinson 44.

Algarve Helicopters is also an FAA certified school and can teach FAA PPL and CPL courses and give flight reviews.

We operate a fleet of modern helicopters which are safe, flexible and cost effective. Our team is experienced in all types of helicopter operation. Portuguese Aviation Authority approved for public transport operation. Full third party insurance.
