BM Aviation is owned and operated by Brian Mellor, and is the only UK CAA registered facility in Spain, where it has operated (in Jerez) for 8 years.
This is a beautiful part of Spain in which to fly, with good weather, the mountains, the sea. And you can land in a different continent in less than one hour after taking off from Jerez! Marrakech is a fantastic spot for a day trip, and only around 2.5 hours flying time.
We offer the following -
- PPL training for JAA licences (aeroplanes and helicopters)
- All the ground exams, radio licence test and skill test. One-stop shopping!
- IMC training and testing (UK licences)
- Licence conversion from ICAO (non-JAA) licences. For example, FAA, and German (several advantages for German nationals to do this!)
- Multi engine class ratings and renewals, on a Seneca II
- High performance aircraft and glass cockpit training, on a Cirrus SR22 with Garmin G1000 Perspective
- JAA flight instructor courses
Brian is also an FAA instructor (Single Engine Land and Sea, Multi Engine Land, Instrument Instructor), and regularly conducts Biennial Flight Reviews and Instrument Proficiency Checks.
In addition, Brian is a ferry pilot, delivering aircraft (usually from the USA) to Europe, Russia, the Middle East, even Japan. If anyone wants to become a ferry pilot, talk to us - we can offer a comprehensive course and route experience on a forthcoming ferry flight.
