<span style="font-weight: bold;">Cotswold Flying School</span> is a small, friendly flying school based at Cotswold Airport, Kemble, in Gloucestershire England. We fly a 2002 Cessna 172 SP aircraft which is a well known 4 seat touring aircraft which is fully equipped for full IFR Flying. It is one of the last Cessna 172 SP’s to be built with analogue instruments and has a HSI installed instead of the standard DI. We do basic training in a Cessna 152 and are in the process of acquiring a Tecnam Sierra LSA which will replace the 152. We aim to provide the best value for money flying training in the region.
We are a CAA Approved flying training organisation and teach basic, night and instrument flying to a high standard. <br><br>Our Chief Flying Instructor, Chris Puddy, is highly experienced and has success teaching those who have had trouble learning with other less experienced instructors. A typical comment amongst students is something like. "He has nerves of steel, is very calm, and never grabs the controls unless the aircraft is likely to be damaged"
